I get asked all the time, “What happens if you crash one of those cars you’re testing?” Fair question: I have to pay for it. But that’s not the hardest part. The hardest part is immediately having to get back in another borrowed car and test that. On our trip to New Zealand, in horrible conditions, that’s exactly what happened.
