Vanity plates are, depending where you live, fairly reasonably priced. They are a fun way to express individualism, show your passion for cars, or just drive around with a little humor on your car. But for many, they also have a stigma of snobbery. Like any stigma, some individuals feel the need to perpetuate it. Those of us who have been here a long time may remember the guy/gal who felt the need to let everyone know about the 87 grand they just dropped (on the plate, not the Benz). It reminded me of this A7 I spotted a couple years ago. Because as if a $70,000 Audi with the most expensive plate option in the state of Nebraska didn't scream "I am richer and better than you" loudly enough, the plate had to inform us that they are, in fact, also much smarter than you, and likely inherited some of that money. I could be misjudging this individual, but it doesn't seem like it. Your turn. What's the most pointlessly showy or pretentious (not simply vulgar) license plate you know to exist?
